Clean roof tiles and a clear gutter line after professional gutter clearing

Why it matters

A small job that prevents big damage

When gutters clog with leaves, twigs, moss and roof debris, rainwater has nowhere to go. Instead of running away safely, it spills over the edges — down your walls, into your foundations and back into the roof edge itself.

On mossy roofs the problem compounds: falling moss builds up in the gutter line, traps moisture against the fascia and slowly weighs the system down. Clearing the gutters is one of the cheapest ways to protect the most expensive parts of your home — and it’s why we include gutter clearing with every roof clean.

  • Every run inspected on camera — before and after
  • Full clearing of gutters, outlets and downpipes
  • Moss and debris lifted clear of the roof edge
  • Water flow tested so everything runs free
  • All waste gathered up and taken away with us

The hidden cost

What blocked gutters actually cause

A blocked gutter rarely announces itself — until the damage is already done. These are the problems we get called out to fix.

Overflow & pooling

Water spills over, pools around the base of the house and wears away paths and driveways.

Damp walls

Constant wetting stains brickwork and works moisture into the render and mortar joints.

Flooded foundations

Water dumped at the footings finds its way in — a leading cause of internal damp.

Roof-edge rot

Moss dams hold water against the fascia, soffit and the lowest course of tiles.

How we clear your gutters

Careful, thorough, tidy

01

Assess and clear

We check the whole run, then clear gutters and outlets by hand — leaves, twigs, moss and debris lifted out, never just pushed along.

02

Flush and test

Downpipes are flushed through and the flow tested, so you can see (and hear) the water running away freely before we pack up.

03

Tidy up

All the debris is gathered up and taken away with us — and if we spot a cracked tile or a loose joint while we’re up there, we’ll tell you and quote for the fix.

Professional equipment

Cleaned on camera — and you’ll see the result

We work with a professional camera system: the whole gutter run is inspected on camera, the cleaning is recorded, and you get to see the result with your own eyes — before we ask you to be delighted.

Full camera survey

Before we start, our camera system travels the entire gutter run — every outlet, joint and hidden blockage found and shown, not guessed.

Recorded for you

The before-and-after inspection is recorded. We show you the footage on the spot — so you can see exactly what came out and that everything runs free.

Professional-grade kit

Camera poles, professional clearing equipment and proper access gear — the job is done thoroughly, safely and to a standard you can verify.

Standalone service

Need the gutters only? Book them on their own

Gutters are included with every roof clean — but plenty of customers book gutter clearing as a service on its own. Same careful work, same fixed-price quote, same tidy finish — no roof clean required.

  • Gutters, outlets and downpipes cleared and flushed through
  • Moss and debris lifted clear of the roof edge while we’re up there
  • Before-and-after camera footage included — you see the result
  • Fixed price agreed before we start — most homes done in a couple of hours

Good to know

How often should gutters be cleared?

For most Nottingham homes, once a year is enough — ideally in autumn, after the leaves have come down and before the winter rain sets in. The gutter line is the first place everything lands: leaves, twigs, moss washed off the slopes and the odd tennis ball.

Homes under large trees usually need a second clearing in spring — and if you notice water spilling over in rain, don’t wait for the yearly visit. That’s the gutter telling you it’s already full.

Roof Clean and repair

My roof was suffering from years of moss and algae accumulation. Zed and his team were polite and efficient. The price quoted was the final price I paid. I could not be more delighted with the outcome.

Cleaning, repairs & waterproof seal

Zed and his labourer did a fantastic, very professional job. They protected the garden with tarps, replaced the broken tiles, treated the roof and covered it with a waterproof protector — then cleared every bit of mess away. My roof looks like new. 10/10!

AMAZING!!

Zed was brilliant from the start, came out to quote within half an hour of messaging, turned up bang on time and worked really hard to clean my roof which hadn’t been done for decades. He made it look pristine and left the property immaculate. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.
